Shrinking in my own strength and wisdom and EXPANDING in the understanding of what God can do in and through the person who lives and moves in faith.
E. Daniel Martin, MD
I am a board certified psychiatrist (shrink).I am also a pastor. My faith, not my professional credentials, defines me. Therefore I say that I am an 'expander' not a 'shrink'.
My sense of the significance of what I can do in my own strength has shrunk over the years. My awareness of what Christ can do in the person yielded to His will has expanded over the years.
